Tree of Souls

The Tree of Souls, the closest connection to Eywa on Pandora.

I modeled the tree in Speedtree, placing it on a rocky base I had previously modeled procedurally in Houdini. I also used Houdini to make additional, thin roots to place near those modeled in Speedtree.
The flying seeds were made with Blender.
I made the whole scene in Clarisse, and used Nuke and Photoshop for compositing and post-processing.
